"Sing For Your Supper Tour" @ Paddy Coynes, Tully Cross, Conemarra
Well, wow, this place is so beautiful as you can see. Tully Cross, Here we had a wonderful night. Everyone there listened intently and we were fed in the hotel next door.
Both Gerard Coyne at Paddy Coynes http://indigo.ie/~wcoyne/Coynes.htm and the people in the hotel next to it were very lovely and extremely accomodating seing as though we'd only just turned up out of the blue.
Our friend Dave came up with his lady Maureen from Galway. They know a couple called Ethna and Richard who are also musicians. When he said they were musicians he didn't quite tell me how brilliant they are.
I didn't get to see them play and nor they see me but they invited us all up to there stunning house right up in the hills in the middle of nowhere after the gig where we all had a few, more, bevvies then toddled off to sleep.
Aine, their daughter, had come along to see me play. She's great. They are all smashing. Even george found a friend in their dog Cline (one half of Calvin) who to begin with seemed really rather scary but turned out almost overly friendly, as georgie found out! I guess they don't get many doggie visitors around there !!
Aine had told us of a place to possibly go the next day. The place? Killary Adventure Centre , where they were holding a challenge event. Lots of people just begging to be forced to listen to me!! ha ha ha... And they did as you will see in the video. I don't think they had too bad a time!!
