Electric Picnic 09

Ahhh, yes again I join the Book Club Boutique for a spectacular weekend over there on the Emerald Isle.
What a festival, what fun, how much laughing? how many wonderful people did we meet? how did we go down? Really bloody well I reckon.
Thanks again to Salena Godden for having me and thanks to the impromtu jam with the lads.
Thanks also to Marty Mulligan and Declan for looking after us so very well. My goodness how we partied.
Highlights? Katie Tempest (the most passionate poet I've ever seen) the Flaming Lips all the other wonderful poets and crazies involved with BCB.

On saturday night i went off on a random wonder around and hung out with so many people, found an open mic and did some singing. Walked and walked till i got blisters and could walk no more. Thanks to all the lovely people who took me in for a bit and looked after me. Woweee. Fabulous. What is it about Ireland I love so much?
No one takes themselves too seriously!! Brilliant.
