At the end of September I went out to a music conferance in Iceland called You Are In Control. I met lots of great people including a very strange guy who told me i should smoke a pipe and drink apple juice to live long and prosper. He also very sweetly gave me a 200 ruble note as a present for my performance. This he said I should burn and then, as punishment for burning it i'll be in Russia this time next year! Most bizarre..
Icelnd was full of so many magical moments that i'm now convinced that Elves exist!
Anyway, the conference was very enlightening, the gig was really lovely, the other artists were amazing who i saw at the music festival in Reykjavik, the people were wonderful and the countryside was out of this world. Here are just a few photos but I think you get the jist. Rainbows, storms, volcanos, black sand, the northern lights ice, glaciers, hot bubbling geysers, mad bonkers scenery.. Iceland has it's very own central heating system. Imagine that! No heating bills! Of course the only missed thing in such a cold climate is no log fires as there are no logs! BUT, the children are busy planting trees..
